If I had but one band I could listen to forever (and could never listen to anything else), I would choose The Beatles.
The Beatles’ music encompasses all the emotions, moods, tempos and melodies needed to get me through my musical cravings.
The Beatles’ music somehow takes me back to my childhood, but then the next song (on even the same album) grows me back up again.
How can one band create such musical perfection!

I’m in. JHJ made me a bunch of Beatles ringtones. They are about all I use.
If we’re talking about bands specifically, then yeah, it’s The Beatles, no question.
If it’s expanded to include any music, I might have to go with Mozart. Not because he’s my favorite (he’s not), but because he was so prolific, and his stuff really covers about everything I could want. Light and dark, serious and playful, happy and sad and angry, and so on. Nobody comes close.
Definitely just bands on this one. There will be other musical categories at some point…no need to limit oneself here.
